Description
“H for Hamide: Constructive” print was designed by Zine Yolal for Hamide for the “4.Hamide Days” for the collection H for Hamide”. This collection explores the values and character of Hamide Design Studio through the design of an “H” letter. We invited two external designers to collaborate with us and contribute to the collection with their interpretation after a very detailed briefing of our history.
In her own words, Zine explains her inspiration and thought process behind “Constructive”:
“In my work I was inspired by Hamide’s values as people and design studio. Constructive is inspired by the Nordic design traditions showed through simplicity and geometry in shapes and composition. The colors of the print were found in the mood of the Middle East; especially Turkey.”
